Cause and Effect

Author's Note: This is my Cause and effect piece on what the causes and effects are in The Dealer, by Robert Muchamore.

The Dealer, by Robert Muchamore, is about a boy named James who is an undercover agent. He is sent on a mission to take down a powerful drug dealer. Cause and effect in this book is what shapes the story. For example, James is a rule-breaker, he loves action, being the big hero,  and getting adrenaline rushes. This causes him to make some rather unnecessary decisions that can sometimes lead to big trouble or a helpful hint. One example is the Climax. The cause is he decides to go to a party when he was suppose to meet with his mission instructors and the effect is he gets arrested by corrupt cops that are bribed to attempt to kill him.
